We are taking donations for Hurricane Harvey and Irma response. Shenandoah Presbytery has set a goal of 1000 cleanup kits. Each kit is $75.00. If you would like to make a donation, no matter how small toward this effort, please write “Cleanup Buckets in the check memo area line and place in the collection plate.

Everyone who attended the “Birthday Party Luncheon” in October had a great time and enjoyed playing Bingo.
The operation of the chimes continues to be a work in progress. New equipment would be very expensive. We have come up with an older technology idea, with very little cost. Elton is looking for a cassette tape player with certain features. If you have one for him to look at and willing to donate it; that would be helpful.
Reid Hoak said that he is meeting with a painter to paint our front door. Reid also announced that he had been in touch with Quarles to get our bill reduced.
The Church office has gotten a new printer. It was first used October 15 to print the bulletins.
